Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are non-invasive treatments that improve skin texture and appearance. During a chemical peel, a chemical solution is applied to the skin, causing the outermost layer to exfoliate and peel off. This reveals fresh, rejuvenated skin underneath, reducing the appearance of wrinkles, sun damage, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation.

How Chemical Peels Work

Chemical peels work by utilizing specific acids, such as alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta-hydroxy acids (BHAs), or trichloroacetic acid (TCA), to induce controlled exfoliation. These acids penetrate the skin’s layers, breaking down the bonds between dead skin cells. This process stimulates cell turnover, revealing smoother, healthier skin with improved texture.

Microneedling

Microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that involves using a device with fine needles. These needles create controlled micro-injuries on the skin’s surface, stimulating collagen and elastin production. This process helps to improve skin texture, reduce scars, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation, resulting in a smoother and more youthful complexion.

How Microneedling Works

Microneedling triggers the skin’s natural healing response by creating microscopic punctures. Your body responds to these micro-injuries by releasing growth factors and promoting the production of collagen and elastin, fibrous proteins that make your skin look firm, supple, and youthful. This results in improved skin elasticity and texture.

RF Microneedling

RF (radiofrequency) microneedling combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy. During the procedure, tiny needles deliver controlled radiofrequency energy into the deeper layers of the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production. This dual-action approach effectively improves skin texture, tightens sagging skin, and reduces the signs of aging.

How RF Microneedling Works

RF microneedling delivers radiofrequency energy into the dermis through tiny needles. The combination of microneedling and radiofrequency heat generates controlled thermal injury, triggering a wound healing response. This catalyzes the production of collagen and elastin, leading to improved skin tightening, improved texture, and reduced wrinkles.

Laser Skin Resurfacing

Laser skin resurfacing is a non-invasive procedure that uses laser technology to improve the skin’s texture and appearance. The laser emits concentrated light energy, targeting the skin’s outermost layers. It stimulates collagen production, removes damaged skin cells, and reduces wrinkles, scars, sun spots, and other imperfections, revealing rejuvenated skin.

How Laser Skin Resurfacing Works

Laser skin resurfacing emits high-energy laser beams absorbed by water molecules in the skin, causing controlled thermal injury. This stimulates collagen production and triggers the skin’s natural healing response. As new collagen forms, the damaged outer layers are gradually replaced, resulting in smoother, tighter, and more youthful-looking skin.

BBL Photofacial

BBL Photofacial, or Broadband Light Photofacial, is an advanced skin rejuvenation treatment that uses intense pulsed light (IPL) technology. It delivers a range of wavelengths to target specific skin concerns, such as sun damage, age spots, uneven pigmentation, and redness. BBL Photofacial promotes a more even skin tone and a youthful complexion.

How BBL Photofacial Works

BBL Photofacial works by emitting intense pulses of light that are absorbed by specific chromophores in the skin, such as melanin or hemoglobin. The absorbed light energy converts into heat, selectively targeting and damaging the unwanted pigmented or vascular lesions. This triggers the body’s natural healing response, improving skin tone and texture.
