From Botox® to Xeomin®, FDA-approved neuromodulators are one of the most clinically researched and proven anti-aging treatments on the planet. Trusted by millions of people every year to refresh and revitalize their look with ease, neuromodulators help to reveal smoother, younger-looking skin by relaxing the muscle movement that causes wrinkles to form.
Our master injector will carefully analyze your facial expressions and note the exact location of your targeted lines and wrinkles. The actual injection process takes only a few minutes and involves a series of slight “pricks” to your skin.
So we may serve the widest range of needs, we carry the following FDA-approved Neuromodulators:
All three neuromodulators work the same by relaxing the muscle movement underlying wrinkles. Once your targeted muscles are relaxed, the skin above smooths out and looks younger.
One main difference worth noting is that Botox and Dysport contain additives while Xeomin is additive-free. Consequently, Botox and Dysport both need to be refrigerated, whereas Xeomin can be stored at room temperature.
In terms of benefits, the different formulations can result in slight variations in the time it takes for the neurotoxin to take effect, as well as differences in the duration of benefits. During your consultation, we carefully review your needs and goals to determine which neurotoxin is ideal for you.
You should start seeing your results in the days following your treatment. With Botox, you can start noticing results within a few days, with optimal results appearing up to two weeks following your session. With Xeomin, it can take a bit longer to start seeing improvements, up to four days following your injectable session. With Dysport, you may see results sooner, two to three days after your injection. Dysport offers optimal results after 10 days.
Botox and other neuromodulators involve a tiny needle that is gently injected into several target areas with great precision and care by a master injector. Neuromodulators are well-tolerated treatments. You may feel a slight stinging sensation as the needle is inserted, but this feeling immediately subsides.
Botox, Xeomin and Dysport can provide benefits for three months or longer.
Yes! Botox is also FDA-approved to treat hyperhidrosis and migraines. During your personal consultation, we will review your needs and health history to determine if Botox is an appropriate course of treatment for you for these indications.
With any injection, there is risk of swelling, bruising and pinpoint bleeding at the injection sites. These side effects are normal and subside on their own in the hours and days following your session. Read more*
